Rigoberta is the 263rd element of Paolo Grassi’s conceptual project From “0” to Infinity. First presented in 2018 at the Museo Epper in Ascona (Switzerland), it immediately drew great attention, particularly from visiting students. This is a dynamic and interactive sculpture, conceived to be displayed on a pedestal in various orientations, revealing new perspectives and visual readings each time. The sequence of numbers, from 5910 to 5930, defines its identity as a unique and non-reproducible work.

Created as a one-of-a-kind piece, the sculpture is complex in both casting and construction, and stands as one of the high points in Paolo Grassi’s plastic experimentation.

As with every Element of the From “0” to Infinity project, Rigoberta embodies the vision of an infinite artwork composed of unrepeatable fragments. The numeric sequence is not merely a form, but a conceptual foundation: no replicas, no exceptions.

Rigoberta è la 263ª opera del progetto concettuale From “0” to Infinity di Paolo Grassi. Presentata per la prima volta nel 2018 al Museo Epper di Ascona (Svizzera), ha subito suscitato grande interesse, soprattutto tra gli studenti in visita.

È una scultura dinamica e interattiva, pensata per essere esposta su basamento in diverse posizioni, restituendo ogni volta nuove prospettive e letture visive. La sequenza numerica, dal 5910 al 5930, ne definisce l’identità unica e non ripetibile.

Opera realizzata in esemplare unico, complessa sia nella fusione che nella costruzione, rappresenta una delle vette della sperimentazione plastica di Paolo Grassi.

Come ogni Elemento del progetto From “0” to Infinity, Rigoberta incarna la visione di un’opera infinita fatta di frammenti irripetibili. La sequenza numerica non è solo forma, ma fondamento concettuale: nessuna replica, nessuna eccezione.
