Pop Icons is a vibrant series of conceptual paintings by Paolo Grassi, created using stencil and acrylic on canvas within the project From "0" to Infinity.
These works explore the expressive potential of numbers, transforming them into iconic visual elements with bold chromatic contrasts.
Each digit is cut, painted, and placed with rigorous spatial control, creating a dynamic surface filled with rhythm and variation.
The paintings are composed of overlapping numerical forms in black, contrasted by saturated backgrounds and chromatic inserts—yellow, green, red, blue, orange—shaped as bars, arrows, and stars.

Pop Icons è una serie vibrante di dipinti concettuali di Paolo Grassi, realizzati con tecnica stencil e acrilico su tela all’interno del progetto From "0" to Infinity.
Le opere indagano il potenziale espressivo dei numeri, trasformandoli in elementi iconici grazie a contrasti cromatici decisi e una rigorosa struttura geometrica. Ogni cifra è ritagliata, dipinta e posizionata con precisione, generando una superficie dinamica e ricca di ritmo.
